IVIG

What is IVIG?

We offer a variety of IVIG therapies including Asceniv,  Gamunex, Gammagard, Octagam, Bivigam, Privigen, and Panzyga.

IVIG is made up of immunoglobulin, a protein in human blood plasma. Immunoglobulin are antibodies that fight off intruder cells as part of the immune system response. There are many types of immunoglobulins including IgM, IgG, IgD, IgA, and IgE.

IVIG is isolated, concentrated, and created from plasma blood donations and given to people with weak immune systems to help them fight off infections, or to treat inflammatory conditions and neurological disorders.

IVIG is made of immunoglobulin which is a part of your blood’s plasma. Immunoglobulin is a special part of the blood, as it carries antibodies that fight off infection, which can help treat a variety of illnesses.
